Rosalita is the daughter of a neighbor of Hugo Reyes's grandpa Tito. Rosalita was supposed to meet Hugo for lunch at Spanish Johnny's on a blind date set up by Hugo's mother, Carmen Reyes. It was scheduled for the day after the opening of the Hugo Reyes Paleontology Wing at the Golden State Natural History Museum, but Rosalita failed to show for the date. ("Everybody Loves Hugo")
