Your User page is where you should put personal information (like where you live, etc...). It is against the policies of this Wiki to do so on an article page (sometimes referred to as a "vanity page"). --Doc 12:30, 27 October 2006 (PDT)

pavlov and your comments
Edit
- Hi Redacejr2. Thank you for contributing to Lostpedia. I would like to note regarding your article Pavlov (talk page here), that it is being deleted primarily because it is based on a fundamental error. The article has confused Pavlovian Classical Conditioning with (Skinnerian) Operant Conditioning. These are two very different things. In short, classical conditioning involves reflex, not voluntary actions. Also, in classical conditioning, the behavior comes after the context, whereas in operant conditioning, the context (punishment or rewards) comes after behavior. I'd also like to suggest that your talk comments are unnecessariy harsh in tone-- asking other editors to "shut up" is not something desirable for the community here at Lostpedia, especially on a talk page where opinions are solicited from various editors. Please be more circumspect in describing your disagreement in the future. Thank you. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 12:43, 27 October 2006 (PDT)

Please do not mark all your edits as minor when they are not. Minor edits are like fixing a typo or two, that sort of things. Thanks. -- Cheers 11:30, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
Other fans works
Edit
I see you've created a few pages that are apparently integral cut and pastes of other fans hard work. Your own original creations would always be welcome, however directly plagiarizing other fans work is rather rude. I think you should obtain these people's explicit permission before posting their works and mention it if and when you do. Thanks. -- Cheers 11:30, 28 October 2006 (PDT)

A couple of things
Edit
You've made a few edits in the last hour that could get you banned if you continue. 1) Do not remove the delete tag from articles that are under discussion for deletion. 2) Do not add a theory that has no basis, even if you think testes are funny. -- Jabberwock talk contribs email - 12:33, 2 November 2006 (PST)
Re:Article
Edit
It was deleted for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was the wrong place for such an article. Lostpedia allows fans to add theories, or form hypotheses (which can be added to fan theories) as to how the show might play out. However, a page for mere speculation as to what will happen will never be sanctioned. Theories need valid empirical evidence to support arguments, and words like "I think most of the main characters will die in my theory" holds no merit. If you want to create a fan theory, then by all means, but it needs to be critically analysed and shrewd in its format. Second, the article was poorly expressed, and the introduction of "I have made this page for others to post their theories" is not the style of writing an encyclopedia uses. Basically, the only end theory we would accept is an exceptional thesis that shows one has shown great efforts in calculating their ideas. If you wish to make such an article then by all means do, but the current article will remain deleted. Thanks, --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:49, 10 November 2006 (PST)
