Charlotte's birth

Hi, you deleted my trivia addition that Charlotte is one of the characters to both be born and die on the Island. Indeed, I realise now that it is never directly confirmed in the series that this is true.

However, during the time shifts, when those who were on the Island experience nosebleeds and temporal displacement, Charlotte falls unconscious and later dies, and Miles only experiences a nosebleed without much drama. Since we know both of them were on the Island no later than 1974, when we see Charlotte as a three year old, this would indicate that she was already there for some time. This still doesn't prove that she was born on the Island, but it definitely raises the possibility of it, which is why I will bring back my comment with a slight re-wording to reflect this.

Also, The Island#Birthplace lists, as a fact, Charlotte as someone who was born on the Island, so I will revise it.--Bwanar talk|contrib 14:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually, that was a mistake on my part, Miles was only born in 1977. Now, if four months gives you a nosebleed, how much is a death? It seems, however, that most of Lostpedia think Charlotte was born on the Island, as evidenced by a lot of articles taking this as granted, including her own, e.g. in the Unanswered Questions section.--Bwanar talk|contrib 15:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Wayne Janssen

    • Reply Wow, great idea! I'm going to have to think some on this one. This is a 50/50, 50% chance that there is something to this info or 50% chance it is an amusing ruse like Hugo's chicken commercial. I'm leaning towards the fact that they gave several details about Wayne Janssen, job, house, business...etc.. But with all the time shifts, you got to wonder why John Walsh and AMW now, and not prior to flight 316. Jugliet

Idea I have been rethinking about your Jugliet theory and a few things came to mind:

  • Hugo still owns Mr. Cluck's Chicken and he's dressed like an Aussie from down under. The meteor did happen and was part of his bad luck that helped persuade him to go.
  • John Walsh at AMW describes Kate's crime as it happened, a gas explosion resulting in Janssen's death and how she's still on the run.
  • Oceanic airways advertises a perfect record, because it has one. Flight 815 left Australia and landed at LAX.

Now here's the twist:

  • Hugo returned from Australia, that's where he got his idea for the new Outback chicken meal.
  • Kate is still on the run, that's why AMW has a BOLO out on her. She never got on the plane.
  • Oceanic is still safe and crashless.

So I think there is something to your theory, but I hope I have enhanced it a little bit. What will also be exciting is what happened to the other characters, how will it be portrayed and what will be their ultimate future.- MRMIKE T  C  E  03:14, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Reply Hey, thanks for the offer, it all kind of started coming to me when I thought of the word, Jugliet. Consider this: we have seen the characters on the season 6 banner, some still alive and some dead or gone. Yet I think they are all returning to their uncrashed lives, somehow. Note that Aaron was not among the characters in the banner. I think that is because there is something to the warning from Claire to Kate, not to bring Aaron back to island. Aaron may create a paradox or another loophole for some other character's purpose. Perhaps Aaron is Jacob's loophole, so that Jacob can progress to the end.- MRMIKE T  C  E  23:16, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey yeah that looks great, how I imagined they'd look was pretty much exactly like that. I also think doing a Lost University/______ page directory is a good call, though I think the titles should perhaps be capitalized as it's a proper noun title... we can always sort that out later though. No sorry I didn't mean that. I mean the top of Lost University has the template linking to the classes, but further down in the article there needs to be a further reference within the prose... so I thought under the header "catalog" rather than putting the top of page nav again or just plain hyperlinks, a modest template could link to the subpages there. There presently doesn't seem a need for a bottom of page nav. A similar style to what I'm saying can be seen on the Rachel Blake page, where there needed to be a mid-point reference to her blogs Rachel_Blake#Post_archive. --Nickb123 (Talk) 11:55, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I actually knew that, I don't know why I said "all". But at any rate, I don't know if I'd agree that Edward Mars, Frank Lapidus or Danny Pickett are referred to by their last name more commonly. I think Danielle Rousseau is about 50/50 as to how she's referred. Anthony Cooper I can't really think of anyone ever calling him Cooper, but I could just be forgetful. Centric

Please humor me ... what is the LP meaning of centric. I noticed that on the the centric tally page several characters have only one centric listed. I looked back through the revisions of this page, and I see that this column evolved from Centric count - no flashes. But if you look at some of the caracters they have (1) in this column and no flashback but they dohave a flash forward. Since the season episode infobox shows each episode's centric character(if applicable), my question is would it not be more accurate to reflect this in the centric total column and to indicate all the centric info in each (applicable)character's infobox. Note some caracters will still not have any centric info as the were flashforward/back only.- MRMIKE T  C  E  23:37, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Help Please?

As you are one of the most knowledgeable people regarding LOST that I know, I hope you can help me with this question. When did Ajira flight 316 depart from LAX? Some say in the later part of 2007. I wish I could convince boondocks4ever to leave it that way on the Jacob page, but he is determined to force it to make sense that it was 2007. Any attempt to change it back is futile. Cleanup on Cast and Crew crossover page

Recently, I did a little work on this page, adding images and links to wikipedia where needed. I noticed that some of the movies have no or poor/limited links to anything, no longer have images available, actors don't even list hem as their work and some are listings for lesser supporting LOST cast. Additionally I noticed that the TV section has several shows that do not meet the criteria as agreed to on the Discussion page. Some shows have only two or three cast members and they are disjointed. Again, some shows are listings for Lesser cast members and some have little/no relevance to LOST at all. It appears that some of the editors adding these entries have not read the Discussion page. In light of upcoming and unfortunate end to it all and the need for some cleanup, I have some ideas if you are interested in discussing. I will ask Blueeagleislander for his opinion, as I see he had a lot of input on the Talk page.
