Hey there Kyle and welcome to LP! I was reading up on some of the wikia staff members and saw that you enjoy the game Final Fantasy XI. I just recently decided to give the game Final Fantasy XII a try and actually liked it. I was wondering if XI was anything like it or what it was like and if it's worth buying. I understand your busy with the wikia's so treat this with low priorty, I am know I'm just about to finish XII and worried about finding a good long game to play next. - Thanks for the welcome! Final Fantasy XII is pretty great, isn't it? I still haven't finished it ... I have this habit of playing a games right up to the point right before the end, then never finishing it because I don't want the game to be over. Anyway, Final Fantasy XI is completely different from every other Final Fantasy game ever made. It is a MMORPG, and very little of the gameplay is driven by the story of the game itself. Most of your time playing would be spent leveling up your character, meeting people and grouping with them to level up and fight bosses, etc. It's a beautiful game, but I think that you'll be disappointed if you go in expecting a traditional Final Fantasy game. It's really more of a traditional MMORPG that happens to have some Final Fantasy elements. The Final Fantasy wiki has a good page on FFXI. Also, because the game is so complex, we have an entire wiki on FFXI. Check out both of them, and see if it interests you. It's a great game, but it's important that you know what to expect before spending cash on the game and monthly fee. --KyleH (talk) 19:11, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
