Your problem
Edit
Your problem has been addressed on CTS's page. And my homepage has been changed, although probably not the way you would like. And that's a real shame. Because it's great the way we live in a democracy (unless you are in Iraq, or somewhere, I dunno...- lol that was a joke, by the way. You need to understand that not everything said on teh interwebs is deadly brow-crumpling serious) and I am free to post my character preferences how I like. Have a great day, Jimbo. Yours sincerely, Ben 01:43, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
I like this post. (Tdstom 06:02, March 13, 2010 (UTC)tdstom)
- And that's great for you. Notice how I'm not removing your post just because you're being snarky with me? At any rate, the guy who wrote it was banned because he also didn't want to play by the rules. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 06:37, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
I'm just following the rules you so carefully outlined for me Jimboo. I mean that what's important, right? . . . to always follow the rules. Tdstom 04:34, March 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed. If you're going to continue to follow policy by signing your posts, not removing talk, etc, then there's no problem. :) Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 04:55, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Edit
You know what my big mouth, I wanted to know if a users ever quoted it and not but an hour later someone does. Thats why I deleted my comment (it no longer seemed necessary) but thanks and My bad. -- B1G CZYGS Talk Contribs 03:05, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Chang
Edit
But, Jimbo, he didn't lose his hand. It was still attached. The producers have said a lot of things.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 18:58, January 28, 2010 (UTC)
re inclusion of Flash-back description in main time line for The Substitute. Whilst I agree this material is awkward in the "prose" of the description of the episode - omitting these snippets means leaving out a major tool used by the writers as an aide memoir to main story. We are not writing a prose novel. If we are it is literary rubbish, we are writing a description of what is seen on-screen. Omitting this material dramatically subtracts the experience of the non-expert coming to these pages to gain an understanding of what they missed or what they just saw. It also means there is nil reportage of this important visual tool - it would be the ONLY thing deliberately omitted from the episode descriptions.Charles Kane 05:29, February 20, 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Charles Kane's interpretation of what should be in the summaries -- strongly!--Cfcincalifornia 07:09, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

I should have known the policy about non-removal. Thanks for the heads up.--Destinedjourney 00:31, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
UQs and AQs
Edit
I was read your response to "Ideas" and I wondered if we will really be able to completely remove UQ sections. I have a list on my user page of questions I don't think they're ever going to answer for us. "Why do women die in their second trimester?" That was a REALLY BIG DEAL and it doesn't seem to me that we're ever going to be told, in spite of TPTB having supposedly said that all the questions will be answered. We may be left with a UQ page. (Actually I think there is or was one, but I don't recall it being well maintained.)--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 20:17, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
Ab Eterno - Blankets
Edit
The blankets, though indeed being sent for by the Doctor, were, as the Doctor stated to Richard, not intended for him (Richard), but for his precious floors. Had the Doctor been humane, he most likely would've done any number of most gentlemanly things, including wrapping Richard in blankets to dry him off, thus avoiding additional water on his floors and, most likely, his accident. I think that this is quite important, as it reinforces the Doctor's own role in his demise and makes it even more clear that Richard was more a victim of an unfortunate situation, rather than someone who has committed manslaughter. I am assuming that this is the best way to let you know how I feel about your hasty edit. Though I now see that it should go on the literary technique section. --Cfcincalifornia 07:07, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
Recurring Appearances
Edit
I redirected Recurring Character Appearances to Portal:Recurring Characters as they both had the same content and the latter was updated unlike the first one. As the creator of their original content and both articles, I just wanted to inform you. I hope you don't mind. --Orhan94 21:21, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Too bad. I actually prefer your list to Character appearances, even more so after it was cut down to only list appearances of main and recurring (5+) appearances. Could you at least keep it on a user space (User:Jimbo the tubby/Character appearances) or something? Because it was your concept after all, though if you don't want to I'll keep it on my user space, as it's got good content and it would be a shame to delete it. --Orhan94 21:39, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Supporting and Minor Characters
Edit
I merged the two portals for now, take a look and if you can, could you please work on the needed portal pics. If the discussion to split them rises again I'll restore the previous article though I doubt that, since a lot of people seem more inclined towards listing them all together. --Orhan94 21:03, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
"Ab Aeterno" rebroadcast?

There was a rebroadcast of "Ab Aeterno" Monday night? Was it Enhanced? Robert K S tell me 04:37, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Portal Templates
Edit
Did I really? Oh god I'm so sorry! I have no idea when that happened though? --SuperJar 20:51, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh I know what you mean now! I was asked to resize the pictures on the portal after I resized many of the pictures on the Minor Characters portal, so I thought that's how you did it? --SuperJar 20:54, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
The Others
Edit
Along the way, I owe you a "you were right" from our long-ago discussion on what the Others call themselves. TPTB said they don't call themselves anything. I still think it's a logical improbability, but "they" HAVE SPOKEN. *thunderclap in background* *grin*--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 21:31, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Where did they say that? Robert K S tell me 21:43, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
- It was in the Q & A section of a recent -- as in season 6 -- podcast, but I don't remember which one. It was something along the line of Ethan Rom running up to Ben and saying, "You know what, they call us the 'Others,'" or some similar inanity.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 21:52, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I added the question to my my "Whine List" on my user page. I've stopped making any real effort to listen to/watch podcasts; they seem to be long on discourse and short on information. There really is less and less they can say.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 22:08, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
No problem
Edit
I really hate seeing the rename category full. --Orhan94 09:57, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
Main character absences
Edit
Can you put the templates on the article now? They look good and a change would be fine for this article. If someone has a better idea it can always be changed, but I think that you could put them without waiting for a discussion. I think that having a sub-page for every character would be too much, so I propose you put them ones you created on the sub-pages on the article. --Orhan94 23:25, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
heart of the island
Edit
The source, the place where power emanates and the stream flows in. How could the location and possible usage by DHARMA or other players of this key location be unimportant? Does the wheel sit there? The Temple? Will the stream and that location play a part in the future dealings with the smoke monster? Could finding this location be necessary in the last two episodes? Mysteries redesign
Edit
Is there any problem if I work in your sandbox on the redesign too? I find the model interesting and I think that this way we can later merge the Mysteries and Answers portal. --Orhan94 18:26, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
- I worked on the Kahana section a bit. Take a look and tell me what you think. --Orhan94 19:38, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pierre
Edit
I couldn't figure out how Pierre's status changed to deceased again on the portal without seeing a notification until I realized that every link is a template call. I locked up Template:Portal/Chang; I also gave User:Golden Monkey the week off.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 23:30, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Good point. The template will open up in a month. Hang in there.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 12:53, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Mysteries
Edit
Okay, I'll just do some of the mysteries I believe would be controversial if posted as solved without explanation, and than I'll move it. --Orhan94 08:29, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
malkin
Edit
You're right. I just checked the transcript. I was pretty sure he said that he was paid, but he only said that he was a fraud, my bad. Well the last time I watched "?" was in 2007 when it aired on TV, so you can understand my misremembering of his words. --Orhan94 23:04, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
- You're not, if there's one thing Lost taught us, it's that the only thing that'll drive you mad is 16 years on a deserted Island. --Orhan94 23:07, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
Desmond Flashback
Edit
Hello, I removed it being a Desmond fb from MoSMoF. As LeoChris points out on the talk page, it was two (now three) against it being a fb and one in favor. Just because you think so doesn't mean you can ignore consensus. --Golden Monkey 21:15, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
