Reference for comment on Substitute/Theory page Edit

When did the producers say definitively that the FS timeline was as a result of the bomb? Can you supply a reference?--Sean Sheep 23:55, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

In the February 15 issue of TV Guide magazine, the question was asked of "Why is the island now submerged under water?". It was actually Lindelof (not Cuse, sorry), who responded "It was a result of the explosion." This confirms the island being under water is the result of the explosion, though it does not confirm the reset is necessarily the result of the explosion.

The only reference to it online I can find is here (http://scifiwire.com/2010/02/week-3-more-lost-question.php), but it is in the hard issue.--User:Jeffcutt72

Theories about Indeterminate PastEdit

How would we know that the statute pre-dates Jacob? See [[1]] Timeline should not be for theories, however, reasonable, when viable alternatives, and there is not telling indication. --Man-of-the-Wold 16:31, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

We know definitively the statue predates Jacob based on hard evidence. During the time flashes, Sawyer and the crew were at the site of the well before it was built, and at that same exact time they saw the statue off in the distance. And we know the well was built during Jacob first few decades of life. Therefore, we know conclusively that the statue predates the well and Jacob. --jeffcutt72 16:37, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
