While you are certainly encouraged to continue contributing to LostPedia, I would recommend you look at the General usage guide and related pages for expectations concerning neutral point-of-view, fan creations, and not using LostPedia simply as a site to promote other websites & projects. Your edits seem to be adding material primarily to link to your other sites, a use that is discouraged by Lostpedians. Thanks! --Jajasoon 08:12, 29 August 2006 (PDT)
- Im deeply sorry for what i have lead you to think. Im deffinatley not using this as a way to promote my site it is just that i thought to make that "lost fan count" site in genral would just be a nice idea to see how many lost fans would sign to say they like it throughout the years, but now that i do think about it, you are right it really has no use as i could have just made it a topic of disscussion in my site dharmaisland. feel free to delete the page for lost fan count, and im sorry for the inconvienience imay have caused.....--Jabadibah 00:34, 30 August 2006 (PDT)
- No problem - wikis are always learning experiences with little harm done! No offense taken & good luck with your websites! --Jajasoon 17:17, 30 August 2006 (PDT)

Hey, another Aussie
Edit
Hey Jabadibah, good to see another Aussie here who isn't afraid of spoilers. I think you and I are the only Aussies here, you may of seen me on The Lost Ninja's comments, and occasionally on the boards. Why don't you put Template:Australia on your user page so everyone can see that you are proud of our awesome country? --Blueeagleislander 22:26, 7 December 2006 (PST)
Hey COOL! I had seen you around Blue eagle but i didnt know you were aussie too. Awsome! ok i'll put up that template. Thanks for telling me...--Jabadibah 23:56, 7 December 2006 (PST)
Lost Moments
Edit
Hey, just dropping a note to explain the rollback on the spoilers template on the Lost Moments article. The use of a spoiler template is being discussed in the talk page of that article, and so far the decision has been to not have a spoiler template. I might agree with you however. For now thought, the template has been removed until a change is merited through the talk page. Thanks! -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 00:42, 15 December 2006 (PST)
Oh, im sorry, i didn't know there was a disscusion going on about it? Thanks for informing me, appreciated!--Jabadibah 00:48, 15 December 2006 (PST)

Category
Edit
Hi Jabadibah! Could you edit your user page to remove it from the category User_templates, please? You don't look like a template. Thanks. :) -- Cheers 13:32, 18 February 2007 (PST)
Vidoes
Edit
I watch your vidoes and keep up the good work. Also, can you update the lost island site? WarthenMan
I seen you latest video and it is freakin sweet. WarthenMan15:29, 26 February 2007 (PST)
I'm also glad that you are updating The Dharma Island. WarthenMan17:45, 27 February 2007 (PST)
templates
Edit
Had to revert your template removal. These decisions are based on community consensus on the talk page, and so far no one else has weighed in. Please don't remove the merge template on your own. You have some nice points, and further citations of the popularity of your video (even from other fan sites or forums) will help your case. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 21:49, 20 February 2007 (PST)
Oh, sorry, i thought the discussion was finsished? Sorry, didn't know. Thanks for re-verting.--Jabadibah 21:51, 20 February 2007 (PST)
Wiki Philosophy
Edit
Noticed your post on Pandora's page. I wanted to drop a few link to explain where we're coming from. Although Lostpedia is not Wikipedia, and differs in fundamental ways, we still inherit many of the same sensibilities of how the wiki and its community function. With regard to some of the previous issues we have discussed, there are detailed explanations on Wikipedia (regarding promotional articles and vanity articles) here: Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest and Wikipedia:SPAM. In particular see "Advertisements masquerading as articles" in the SPAM article, and content relating to what they term "vanity" content in the second. Note that community consensus is the final arbiter in cases of possible conflict-of-interest, such that Wikipedia:Ownership of articles may more fully explain our point of view even in Lostpedia.
- Please read all three links! I have not posted these links facetiously; please read them in good faith to help you understand where we are coming from, and why it is not the personally-directed vendetta that it may seem to be without this perspective. In short, you are not a normal contributor to this wiki, and most of your edits have the issue of conflict of interest, which you also do not seem to believe is applicable to community consensus. As a very infrequent user and (I'm using this term neutrally) inexperienced member of this community, you may not understand the standards of this community, nor do you get to dictate them. In full understanding of this, I've been trying as best as I can to explain in more detail where we are coming from; accusing other users or sysops of personal vendettas are certainly illustrating the need to explain these issues further. Thank you for understanding.
- BTW the external links you submitted above for your recent Rm 23 video were not acceptable evidence of the community impact of this video, because all were further examples of your own self-promotion on other forums (i.e. threads started by yourself, about your content). The other videos that you cite on Lostpedia do not necessarily create a precedent; these too are simply identified as possibly needing to be merged as well. Again, note that we are not deleting mention of your videos, as the content and youtube links will be merged into our articles on videos on Youtube.-- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 23:07, 25 February 2007 (PST)
Oh ok, i see, thanks for the detailed explaination Santa! I think now i understand the site more better. --Jabadibah 23:45, 25 February 2007 (PST)
Article deletion
Edit
- The articles were deleted for the reasons stated in the discussion--there were 4 or 5 that were all made entirely to be self-promotional of videos you were involved in making. As written in the rules and edit comments, fanon is occasionally accepted for LP if it circulates within the fan community and is well-known, as informative for other fans. I discussed this with all the other active sysops, and your recent articles are not. Some actually wanted to delete all of them, but I ended up merging them into two, one for the hoax videos, and one for the Missing Tale. Lostpedia is not a platform for primary link exchange or ad promotion; it's an encyclopedic/NPOV site. --PandoraX 03:01, 26 February 2007 (PST)
- Just so you know, I put up Lost: The Missing Tale for deletion. Thought I'd give you fair warning. --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 13:30, 27 February 2007 (PST)
- Thanks for taking this so well. man. I think they're can be fan material on Lostpedia, it's just really pushing it when the article is made by their creater. I'm actually getting in to filmmaking myself, I'll tell you when I put something up on YouTube. Sorry about that Ryan guy. --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 04:02, 28 February 2007 (PST)
Steven Speilburg
Edit
When you say you're making a film for Spielburg and Burnett, do you mean that new FOX reality TV show? --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 18:48, 28 February 2007 (PST)
Yeah, i've entered "On the Lot".--Jabadibah 21:27, 28 February 2007 (PST)
