Hmm, very well could be! It would make sense, as Ben approaches the ladder right after that ... it still looks more stone-like and rougher than the ladder, but I could be wrong. Exodus, part 2

I was re watching this episode and came across a quote I found interesting:

JACK: I don't believe in destiny.

LOCKE: Yes, you do. You just don't know it yet.

I think it really speaks to what they have always had planned for the evolution of Jack's character. Just can't believe I didn't remember it being said! For further irony, I was just saying something similar the other day about the free will vs. destiny talk after the episode "The Variable". It's not that free will doesn't exist because we always have choices, but as they say in The Matrix Reloaded, we've already made those choices; we just don't know it yet.

Claire/ Charlotte

I enjoyed reading your blogs...lost of interesting stuff...first in response do the one about Claire my theory is that she is "undead", "dead but here", whatever you want to call it but in a state we never seen (altough I hope shes not, I would like her to have a nice reunion with Aaron, and you cant have that if shes dead.) She is more on the alive side then dead. I'll have to re watch episodes from the first 2 seasons but remember Claire was the one in the first season to go missing and have memory problems. With this whole time loop and time travelling thing introduced to us this past season I cant help but wonder if this has something to do with that. I do remember from someone posting it on myspace that in Claires diary it said I have been having dreams of a black rock. I wouldnt be surprised if next season we see her in the Black Rock. I agree miles did seem very interested in her. I also would like to say that I was very very upset to not see Claire this season. She better have on hell of a centric episode next season.

And in response to your Charlotte theory...yes it does seem very far fetched...lol...but I dont think its as bad as you think. When we saw Jacob speaking Korean to Jin I though back to season 4 when we saw Charlotte speaking korean to Jin. But I dont think she is his mother. I would think if anything that Charlotte is the daughter of Jacob. I know that according to Ben her fathers name is Dacid. But for god sakes....how many people on this show have aliasis. Lets think..Sawyer, Kate, Ben, Michael, Locke, and Faraday different have the same last name of either of his parents. I think its possible for Jacob to have an alias. Charlotte to be Jacobs mother would make her be way more importiant then the writers make her out to be. But whatever the case is...im with that Jacob and Charlotte have some type of connection.
