Nathan piece
Edit
You should post that as a blog, so people can comment on it. But it shouldn't be an article in the encyclopedia. For now though, I've moved it here. --- Balk Of Fame ♪ talk 10:48, December 21, 2011 (UTC)
Image templates
Edit
When you add images to articles, make sure you use the "{{I|" template rather than "[[File:" or "[[Thumb:" . Those latter two options leave messages under the image about who uploaded it, which disrupts the article. Also, watch the relevance of the photos you're adding. If a section has no image, that's often fine, and it's better than adding an irrelevant image. --- Balk Of Fame ♪ talk 13:33, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks Balk, I was going to inform him about the template change myself but I didn't have time earlier. Just to explain further, the template is as follows {{I|I=filename|w=width of image/size in pixels|a=align to either left or right|c=caption of the image}}. The default size for images is 200px on most articles, unless it is unsuitable. Please try to add a caption when possible, including a crossref to the episode it is from using {{crossref|"season"x"episode number"}}. Thanks.--Baker1000 20:31, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
- THANKS for letting me know about the image convention. I did not know that. I had seen it here and there but followed the original format I had seen and thought was more popular! CHEERS! --Gregaus 03:43, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
- The only reason we changed it was when Wikia forced a change in the template that made the name of the user who uploaded the photo appear under the image. We believe this was not needed on the site, especially as we go by the no possession of edits rule here. So we took a stand, to point it bluntly. :)--Baker1000 13:15, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Useless categories
Edit
Can you please stop with adding useless categories? I'ts not needed and they are useless. --Station7 14:35, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
- I deleted your comment on my Talk page as I didn't see fit to engage with such an attack, only to have it re-instated by another moderator. Now that it is back, I am forced to confront this issue. FIRST OF ALL - I will not be spoken to in this way. I do not care who you are! I do not care to have to explain myself to a person who is capable of such petiness. I am new to Lostpedia and doing my best to contribute and you are runing my experience. What IS useless is sending me a message like this and expecting me to be ok with it. Station7 - From this point on, DO NOT MESSAGE ME or ENGAGE WITH ME in ANY WAY unless you plan to be constructive. I will not fight with you and I do not want an apology. What you need to be aware of when you send someone a message like that is that you are attacking the very people that make this site popular. I did not join Lostpedia to be attacked and treated in this manner and I will have no problems in reporting your methods in engaging with users like myself if it happens again. Please take a look at the policy for avoiding strong language here: http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Lostpedia:No_Personal_Attacks -- Gregaus
- Perhaps that could have been a little more polite, but I know what he is trying to say. Please try to add relevant categories as it will make navigation a lot easier. If you think a category is relevant and it's removed, take it up on the talk page for the article and let others discuss whether or not it is a suitable category.--Baker1000 20:57, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. I believed I was adding relevant categories, so I will need to have a closer look at what I did that was so wrong. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. Thanks again, Gregaus.
- Hey there Gregaus. I know that you were trying to do the right thing, but the categories you edited don't excist and thus can't be placed in the articles. I hope you understand that. --Station7 11:20, February 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. I'm really confused then by the whole category thing. I went through and looked at which (matching) categories had not yet been assigned to a characters page and added them. How am I to know that the category doesn't exist? Shouldn't these categories be removed entirely if they are not found anywhere? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again. --Gregaus 01:12, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
- You're right about that. Like the category Aaron, doesn't belong Aaron Littleton's page. Somebody created this categories and they are mostly used for blog posts. Like the category Category:Images of Aaron Littleton, belongs to the pictures, not the page. --Station7 09:48, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why so many categories are created when they don't have anything in them, but I noticed you added "Rose (Voice actors)" to Rose's page, which should be reserved for the voice actors only. Although curiously, when I checked, that category was empty too.--Baker1000 22:01, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Is there a way of deleting the ones that don't exist by admin? --Gregaus 22:04, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Message
Edit
You're welcome. I just had to click on the little arrow at the right side of the article where I was editing, then a column deploys and there you can see the categories. All I had to do is select everything and delete.

Re:Picture Deletion
Edit
Hi there. I removed said pictures because it was my belief that theory pages were meant to be text only. I've undone the edit, but I do think it merits discussion by the group. Thanks! Crohall 17:29, April 28, 2012 (UTC)
