It's a shame to hear you are going DaemonRising, but I honestly don't blame you. I try to keep my head down when it comes to anything relating to a wiki because of this exact kind of bullshit, and I don't think many people realise how many potential assets exclude themselves or get driven away by people pointlessly trying to mark territory in their own little corner of the web.

Birmingham is considered the second city of the UK, as can be seen by things like the Aston Villa vs Birmingham City game being called "The Second City derby". The higher population of Birmingham, and the higher economic yield. DaemonRising, I hope you have read through the comments to your last post and seen how much support you have.
I am truely sad that you have or are considering leaving because I have always found your post and Sean Sheep's to be the most inspiring, most well-research and you always make important points. I m often a student of what you have to say, and Sean is beyond brilliant! But most of all, I am sad, because I have noticed how professional and respectful you conduct yourself on the pages towards others. For you not to receive the same respect from others is not acceptable.
Acceptable or not, I wish you would consider ignoring them! They are getting what they want by harassing you, and they are extremely jealous of your following.
Without the two of you, I will visit this page less and less because there are not as much worthwhile posts and many are so far behind...waste of time. However, there are only a few episodes left, and I beleive the Lostpedia community wants an needs.

Your blogs are always hugely thought provoking and you are always supportive of peoples ideas even if you dont always 100% agree. This whole community is LOST without you. I would love to discuss the last two episodes with you also. Your little genuins point about Desmond!!! I am trying to get some sort of Lost party organised and if you are a fellow north westodian for your sins, then you would well and truly be given a gold invite. I wasnt around unfortunately when it all kicked off. I try and stay away for a few days and watch it on Friday's. All I want to say is this. Fuck them. Daemon-Glad to see you back doing what you love to do. You remind me so much of a good friend of mine. She is very smart, lots going on in her head. When she says something, it's not often said without thinking it out first. This makes her quick to defend, not a bad thing, I do that too. She, and you, need reminded to not let people waste your resources arguing with them. Unfortunatly some people depend on putting others down, to pick themselves up. Hey! I can see all the blog posts fine, are you viewing them in Recent Changes? The only annoying thing is that when in this menu, when I click on the reply that a person posts to a comment, the page does not redirect me to the blog post, it comes up with a message saying "This page needs content". Oh sorry, yes. Well as far as I know, this is a common occurrence. You were away from the site for a while weren't you? It happened all the time, and it usually rights itself after a day or two. I can see what you mean. Julietfan2626's blog hasn't appeared on it yet, but I'm sure it will. Thank you for the link to the community site to state my greivances. I feel a little better. :) I know you have gone through even more bu**sh** than I have here, but this current state of affairs is definitely a destructive blow to the blog community. It never makes good business sense to alienate old users for new (apparantly younger) users, but I agree there is definitely something going on. That being said, I evesdropped on your comment to just sayin' and I think he should start a site, with a blog. Just the Lost Book club alone will generate a ton of interest. Let me know how I can help, and thanks for the pointers and especially the SUPPORT today. I don't think many people recognize here anymore, but it is so nice to know I have a few friends out there. Hi There! Thank you for your message on my talk page and thanks for sticking up for me the other day on the blogs. I AGREE WITH YOU 100%. The immaturity on the blogs has really gotten to me. I am not proud of my frustration the other day, but I could not help it, truely I could not. I have been feeling downright offended over the way this site has been co-opted by tweens. And I have teens that watch Lost and have meaningful things to say about it (they are not on here - though). There have been really young users in the past who have hung with the dialogue and contribute, and it really has nothing to do with their age.
It is just the lack of sophisitication and intellect that has me frustrated. It is comical!! except for the fact that it is keeping inteligent LP bloggers away and filling up the blogs with crap. I guess there is where I feel the need to say something because those of us who want to engage in Lost discourse have not outlet when every blog post is a vote or a tally about who your favorite so and so is and what you are having for lunch.
To add some humor: Today I finally found a worthwhile blog post, and it was from horribleeyes asking for comments on the answers LP users are coming up with themselves etc. In one question/answer she is answering why Desmond was in the brig and what his crime was while in the queens army, and she says it is because he went AWOL. Not only did two of the tweens not know what AWOL meant, she and Just sayin' (the blog nanny's) had to explain AWOL to them like 14 times!!! I was like = this is so unbeleiveable that this is the actually dialogue resulting from a well thought out post.
but it proves the point. And I feel very comforted by the fact that you feel the same way. You are right it is harder and harder to come on here.
