Removal of PicturesEdit
Hi there. How's it going? Just a quick message to check on why it is you're removing pictures I've added. It would be good to know why this is happening as I have spent a lot of time putting them up. Thanks! --Gregaus 16:59, April 28, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks heaps for getting back to me! May I ask, are you an Administrator of this site? I don't believe theory pages are meant to be all text as many theories require visual aids to make a point. Have a look at the bottom of http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Blast_door_map/Theories to see a prime example of this. The user has used two types of maps to perfectly illustrate his/her theory. Go through the theory pages and you will find most have images on them, for a variety of reasons. Also, many people (me included) first arrive to this site via a theory page thanks to Google, so without pictures and supporting media on these pages, users are far less likely to know what is going on and who particular characters/symbols/locations etc are without the pictures. Much of the content on theory pages contains obscure stuff such as minor or fleeting characters, hence the pictures help inform the viewer without them having to click on links or do searches to find the information. It therefore helps them stay on the site for longer and (hopefully) get involved. Thanks also for re-instating the images. Greatly appreciated. --Gregaus 00:50, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
