Locke's nomination for AOTW
Edit
Hi Alex, I've just noticed that you nominated Locke's article for an AOTW. Although the character is of great importance in almost every scene in the show, the article, however, is in my opinion still far from standards. For example, you would notice its structure inconsistency with other character articles, specially in the "before the crash" section, where it is divided into different aspects of his life (wrok, family...etc), rather than being in a narrative form. In addition to an unnecessary elaboration at some other parts, which would make it fall off standards. Although others may differ, I think a number of voters, including myself will put the nomination down, at least with Not yet or Almost votes. To be honest, I was thinking of working on the article soon, to lift up its quality. So cause I care for the article, instead of voting it off directly, I wanted to suggest to you if you would reconsider denominating it for now (that is, remove the nomination, to add it again soon), until it is in shape, not to let it be tainted now with discouraging votes. What do you think ? -- 10:35, 4 December 2006 (PST)

Hi Nomad!
Ok, I consider it best to do it the way you suggested. The structure, you've mentioned, is only fair partially. It has been my ambition to reach an overwork on the article "John Locke". And now we can start it. I've got a notion that it will be the best to rewrite this article, as well this article deserves it more than any other article. greetz --Airwaver 14:58, 4 December 2006 (PST)
- First, thanks for your understanding :) Second, I stonrgly agree with you that Locke's is a very deserving article for hard work , so I am personally starting on it right away. C u there :)
- P.S. Since we agreed that the article still needs work, can I ask you to remove the nomination from the featured articles page for now, until we are done rewriting ? Thanks & Regards. -- 15:42, 4 December 2006 (PST)
- Since you didn't seem available since I posted this last msg, I have allowed myself to remove the nomination instead of you. Hope you don't mind.-- 04:43, 5 December 2006 (PST)
Yes, thanks for removing the article. ;-)--Airwaver 08:37, 5 December 2006 (PST)
