"Smother" theory that I really enjoy
I'm sure some of you have read theories on here that Mother could also be a smoke monster, which would explain how she killed the entire village, and filled up the well so quickly (impossible for one human to do this).
Anyways, let's assume now that she is similar to MIB in every way. This would mean MiB is the actual protector of the island, just like his smokey mother was (let's called her Smother, hehe). This would also mean Smother (although her body is dead, like MiB) is a spirit of some sort who can shape-shift into dead people. Which leads me to this theory... she is the main antagonist in the overall plot. She is still manipulating things on the Island for some end or some purpose. She is the one who showed up to Hurley as Isab…
Why is Boy-Jacob showing up?
I wanted to get some responses on why people think Jacob is showing up as his teenage self to Flocke in the present day and taunting him, telling him to follow the rules? What is the point, and why is he a boy and not his adult-self?
Across the Sea explained a little bit, in that we now know that the boy is in fact Jacob. Another piece of info we got was that MiB could (at one point in his childhood) see and speak to dead people. This might suggest Boy-Jacob is a ghost he is able to see. However, this does not explain why Sawyer was able to see boy-Jacob in the jungle. So back to the question, what is the purpose of Boy-Jacob showing up to MiB and taunting him? Would that also mean that Mother's ghost might be still wandering the islan…
So Richard is dead in the FS, what does that mean
I was just thinking about what Richard would be doing in the FS, and where he would be. If the island sank in 1977, one would assume that he is dead in the FS since he was on the island the day the bomb went off. However, he is the only one that is alive on the island now, but is also dead on the island in the FS (aside from Jacob and Flocke possibly). This could actually push for a fun plot line. For instance, can someone who dies in another timeline on the island still be able to be seen by Hurley? If so, dead Alt-Richard can maybe show up and speak to Hurley similar to Michael and Richard's wife. Or maybe Richard is actually dead and that is why he doesn't age (a "Sixth Sense" sort of thing).
Another possibility is that the boy tha…

One Stubborn Tomato
When Jack was talking to Sun on the beach, he said "that is one stubborn tomato. I guess it didn't know(believe?) it was supposed to die". Obviously he is hinting at something/someone else in this statement. Who does everyone think he is talking about here? My first thought was probably Jin since we thought he was dead, and he wasn't.
