Loophole Theory

I've been participating in the reWatch and this backgammond analogy keeps sticking out at me, I've been thinking Locke was one of the people that Jacob touched so I've been of the line of thinking that Locke was suppose to be one of Jacobs pawns in the game. The Loophole, would be to gain control of one of the other players pawns, they I guess would be the only ones who could hurt their own controler or something like that.

Any thoughts?
