I just got my copy of the Lost Encyclopedia today. It actually showed up yesterday, but I didn't bother checking my mail because I wasn't expecting it until today. I'm already thoroughly impressed and lustfully devouring every page. As a Lostpedia contributor, I plan on supplementing/creating articles using new information gleaned from the book. Does anybody know what the Wikia copyright proceeding is concerning the book? The copyright page lists that "No part of this publication may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of the copyright owner." I've worked on other wikis involving books, mostly novels where it was fine, so I'm not too sure what the legal standpoint is on this. At the very least, I would assume that we're forbidden from uploading scans of images from the books.

Any thoughts?
