I'm probably not the first one with this theory. In fact, I KNOW I'm not the first. But I think it's worth mentioning why I think this might be true.

I think Bram and Ilana are working for Alvar Hanso, either in a reconstituted Dharma Initiative (As Pierre Chang requested in his video) or as something else. My reason why centres on the fact that Hanso has only been explored in the ARG and only mentioned in small dribs and drabs throughout the show. I think it's about time he became part of the main show's story. In terms of story, it doesn't make sense to me that he would only be mentioned in the show a few times, along with Karen and Gerald Degroot, but neither of them be explored. That seems too far fetched to me... they have to enter the story very soon or the audience will feel let down that they are introduced but then have no relevance to the main plot.

The other point I have is that if we ever do see the events of what happened to the Black Rock when it became "shipwrecked" on the Island, then the captain Magnus Hanso would be one way to introduce the story of Alvar to the show.

What does everyone else think?
