Magic Box?

i was rewatching the season 1 episode numbers, which explains how Hurley got the infamous numbers that he used to win the lottery with and cause all sorts of bad luck to happen to him. in the scene where he visits Lenny, the guy who keeps repeeting the numbers in the mental institution, Hurley explains that he used the numbers to win the lottery. Lenny snaps out of his trance of repeating the numbers and starts yelling. one thing that he yells is that Hurley has "opened the box" by using the numbers. could this be the same magic box that Ben tells Locke about? personally i dont know, ive always thought that the magic box was a metaphor or something. any ideas?

Biggest Plot Twists?

It seeems like at the end of every episode, there's a "mini plot twist" to end the episode with a bang. but theres also some really big ones that i never saw coming. The biggest ones for me was the revelation that Ethan was an Other, and that Charles Widmore and Mrs Hawking were Others on the island. im not including the introduction of flash forwards because a friend read spoilers about it and then told me, so i wasnt surprised. Any other big ones im forgetting?

Jack's story doesn't add up

is it just me, or did the writers for Lost completely butcher the story that Jack told Kate in the Pilot part 1? in that episode, Jack made it seem like he cut the girl's whatever sac, which would make her paralyzed. he said he felt extreme fear, and the only way he conquered it and sowed her back up was by counting to 5, and letting the fear in. then he didnt feel any fear, and got the job done. when the writers decided to show us this story in the finale for season 5, it turns out Jacks dad was involved, something Jack left out in the Pilot. turns out christian put jack in a time-out. this turned out to be such a dissapointment for me, and seems like the writers couldve done a better job with that scene. thoughts?

"heeeelp meee"

When we first saw the episode that introduced us to Jacob's Cabin, Ben took Locke to see Jacob (which we now know that Ben was faking). well Locke hears a voice that says "heelp me." we all assumed it was Jacob. now that Jacob has been formally introduced, it's been bugging me that their voices sound nothing alike. then i listened to the Nemesis's voice again, then the person who said "help me." is it just me, or do they sound extremely alike?? now it makes sense because the Nemesis asked Locke to help him with his loophole to kill Jacob

elliot on lost?

i beat lost:via domus a while ago and i was reading about the game after being confused on the ending (that made no sense to me). then i saw something like Elliot could possibly make the transition from video game to the actual show. is it just me, or is that a reallly dumb idea? after playing the game with high expectations, i was realy disappointed with it. but introducing elliot as a character on the show? i realize thats not going to happen now that its going into the final season, but then again the game has been out for a couple seasons and the writers did have time to put him in the show. thoughts?
