Smokies

There's been some interesting posts about the "smoke monster," but I am not 100% convinced there is only one smoke monster. It's like a line from season 1 when someone said "Sawyer killed the polar bear." I believe it was Sayid who responded "No, Sawyer killed A polar bear."

At this point I'm not totally convinced that every time we've seen black smoke, it's been MIB in that form. Maybe Jacob can become a smoke monster, maybe there are others too.

I first thought of this when Ilana said Flocke was stuck. Maybe these entities are wandering around as smoke monsters untilt hey take over a body. Once they take over a body, they can go back and forth between the body and monster form, but can not take on a new body.

Dharma Shark

When we see the Island underwater in LA X, there is a Dharma Shark swimming around. This seems kind of strange to me, IF the island was really destroyed in 1977 and the flight is in 2004. That would make the shark atleast 27 years old. According to wikipedia, sharks live 20-30 years, so that is a pretty old shark. I am skeptical that the shrak has hung out around the island for that long. To me, this is a clue that the belief that the island sank in 1977 and "Flight X" is in 2004 is wrong. Most likely, these events occured much closer together. Does anyone else think that's possible?

What happened to Jacob's body?

Did anybody else notice that Jacob's body was not in the fire pit in this episode? What happened to it? It was not his physical self who appeared to Hurley, since Hurley can see the dead without their body being near. Did it go somehwere else or is just a continuity error? Any theories?
