I don't know about you, but I'm hoping for a Lost movie in the future. I think there's room for the story to continue, don't you? We all know about the unanswered questions, the mystery of the island's origin, and the Statue in pre-Jacob times. Would you want an older Walt to come back? Is Charles Widmore truly dead? I thought Ben couldn't kill him? What about that Hanso guy? Is MIB dead? Didn't you expect (hope?) his body would be missing when Sawyer looked over the ledge? The island must have been visible to the outside world when Desmond pulled the plug. Were the tremors recorded by the outside world? Maybe the Island isn't finished with us yet.
My pitch for a spin-off: Premiere episode. Close up of Ben's eye opening. He ra…Read more >
Imagine my dismay when I was Blocked from posting comments for the past 3 weeks. This wasn't supposed to happen! I had so many theories to share with you, but apparently since I had to renew my password I was put in lock down. Dude! Sure, maybe my theory that Vincent had become the leader of a band of Others' polar bears was far fetched, but it was just as good as many of your ideas! Don't tell me what I can't do!
Anyways, one nugget I've been holding on to for weeks is this: the Kwon candidate listed on the wall was meant to be Jin and not Sun. The reason I say this is that Sun did not flash back to Dharma with Kate, Jack, Sayid, and Hurley - all Candidates. Jin did flash through time and proved difficult to kill in exploding boats wi…Read more >
Something's bothering me about the rules to see Jacob. It has been discussed that the loophole was a way around the rules for seeing Jacob. I believe the consensus has been that only the Leader can meet with Jacob, that one Leader cannot kill another, and that way Jacob is protected. But back in Season 3 in The Man Behind the Curtain Locke demands Ben to take him to see Jacob/Jacob's cabin. Richard raises as eyebrow but no one protests. This seems to be an inconsistency, perhaps because the writers hadn't seen that far ahead? What do you think or am I missing something?Read more >
Just re-watched Catch-22 from Season 3 and it got me wondering if Jacob has visited Desmond. Desmond is explaining that he became a monk after he woke up in the gutter to a man asking him "Can I help you, brother?" Maybe this was Jacob touching him? He goes on to say he realized he had to sacrifice everything precious to him to answer a greater calling. But he got fired by the monks and went on to meet Penny, and you know the rest. Perhaps the island hasn't seen the last of him yet.Read more >
Did anyone else think the appearance of Bernard and Rose was more than a special guest appearance? Rose expressed dismay when the raft with Sawyer and the rest arrived. I'm sure it has already been noted that Rose is black and Bernard is white. Now Bernard looks like Moses with a beard and staff, and he was more welcoming to the guests. Rose comments "It's always something with you people." They both just want to get away from everything and live quietly near the beach. After asking Juliet to stay for tea, Bernard has a knowing look in his eye as she walks away. Seems like some obvious parallels.Read more >
