Time stood still once again! The sun wouldn't rise! The Hunter lit a kerosene lamp. The lamplight cast eerie shadows upon the walls of room 23. He took out another piece of paper from his saddlebag. It was a map. He needed to know where the escape points were. Suddenly, there was a slight tap on the door. He instintively reached for the revolver, still snug in its leather holster on the bedpost. He quietly set the trigger. "Who is it?" he said. A soft voice replied. "Can I come in?" He silently got out of bed. He listened for a moment, then ripped open the door and grabbed the figure in the dark hallway, and pulled it into the room. Throwing it onto the bed! He held the revolver steady! "Who the hell are you and what do you want?!" The figure rolled over slowly. She was pretty with ash blonde hair. Her soft eyes glowed in the lamplight. There was a beautiful sadness etched upon her face. "I need to know something!" she whispered, "are you the one?" He stared at her in disbelief. "Why does everyone keep asking me that?!" "Because," she replied, "others have come here claiming to be but they've always failed. We figured it's because there is no one who can save us!" He holstered the revolver. "Save you from who?" The woman slowly rose from the bed and walked over to the window. "He's called Himself many names over time," she hypnotically replied. "I'll ask it again," the Hunter said, "just who are you and what do you want?!" She turned to face him. "My name's Juliet and if you are who I suspect you are, I came here to help you destroy Him!"
