i've been trying to figure it out for a few days now... the fact that my posts are visible on search engines bothers me.Read more >
i recently watched all of "flashforward," and despite the really rocky start (the first 6 or 7 episodes were borderline horrible), it eventually turned out to be a really solid show. the acting, writing, production improved greatly toward the end of the series.
does anyone else think the show would've faired better in the ratings if "lost" was already over and fans were eager to get invested in it as a replacement?Read more >
i remember in the good ol' days when we were compiling theories, one of the minor ones was in regards to what happened to ben's friend annie from the DI. a lot of us thought that annie grew up to be diane (kate's mom).
i think there was even an octogan box at her mom's place on the fireplace or somewhere. (we later learned that it was just one of many set pieces that were recycled on the sets.) a lot people thought this was supposed to be a subtle clue.
i'm thinking about compiling all the false clues/ dispelled theories... i know there's a section like this already, but now that the show is over, i think all of us who've been here since the beginning can definately expand it to something bigger. especially considering that most of the theo…Read more >
i had posted a blog following the finale concerning why i felt the dharma initiative was important after all here:
to follow on that train of thought... if the DI knew about the source's abilities in relation to the human consciousness, then it only follows that the others must have known as well. this is why walt was so important to the others. they knew about his own abilities to hill things into existence (birds, polar bears, secret messages on computers, etc.) and may have believed that he could have been trained to focus these abilities to achi…Read more >
i read that caeser was supposed to return in the finale and that he was to have a somewhat important role; however, because of scheduling conflicts, the actor wasn't available. does anyone know what was originally intended for the character?
for some reason, this sort of thing always interest me. for example, i remember reading a while back that eko was intended to be taken by the MIB. however, as we all know, the actor wanted to return home to england, so the character was killed off. knowing that little bit of info gives his final words to john locke ("you're next.") more meaning. i'm wondering if knowing caeser's intended role would've given his actions more significance in season 5.Read more >
