We must remember a very wise old women named Eloise Hawkings. When Desmond turned the key his mind was sent back in time two a younger version of himself. He meets Eloise whilst trying to change the past. She explains to him that "the universe has a way of coarse correcting". This concept is proven when desmond tries to save Charlie. It was as if he was trying o change a past that had not happened yet.

It means that whatever happened, happened only it doesn't have to happen a specific way. The universe will treat the entire island as if it were Charlie. Evan if Jack changed something, it WILL change back.

If Flight 815 crashed due to Desmond not pushing the button then why did ajira 316 go down. and why did some people stay and some go back in time. Also, if Sayid was killing Widmores men, why is Ilana arresting him evan though she is Jacobs chick. I cant take it anymore its too effing long to be waiting to see the end.
jack v. sawyer season six and the loop
i had previously posted somthing saying that sawyer is gonna be a bad guy is season six. somebody had pointed out that it couldnt be a story that lasted long because the show has other places to go. but i now think that their rivalry will be apart of the bigger picture all along. think about it widmore and ben have had an interesting rivalry for aperently many years. and jacob and his lil buddy (whom people are calling nemesis) dont seem to like eachother very much either. so maybe since sawyer will prolly want to kill jack he wont be able to and the show can finaly explain the whole "rivals cant kill eachother thing" likie when jack tries to kill locke.

something just came to me that i never thought of. it may have been said before. but if i havent seen it its new to me.
ok, desmond became gifted after and encounter with the islands energy. jacob and his enemy seem to be pretty gifted themselves. maybe they attained there powers in a similar way.
that said is it possible that now (as of the incident) jack and the other losties have themselves become blessed with some kind of power. that would be interesting.
poor poor sawyer
i am biting my tounge at the fact the sawyer will be a bad guy in the next season. think about it, juliet is dead (thats right i said it) and she was pretty much what made him a good strong man. not to mention its basically jacks fault that she died in the first place. its gonna be a pretty ugly season for sawyer and that makes me said. think revenge of the sith. sawyer is gonna turn to the dark side over the loss of his woman.
