well, this has been bugging me since S05 finale and here it goes:
Jacob basically saved Locke's life, or brought him back to life, or healed him, etc. take your pick. The problem here is: WHY? why did Jacob do that?
Eventually John dies and his nemesis takes over his body and kills Jacob. OK, someone will say "Jacob could not see the future" ... reluctantly i will agree, but then Jacob met Hugo and made sure he got on the plane with the others ... he must've known at that point that John had died, and that he must STOP his dead body from returning to the island. so why didnt he ???
