    As a faithful blogger I have seen various names attached to the man who was introduced at the same time as Jacob and expressed his desire to kill Jacob. The names used to reference this man have ranged from "Jacob's Nemsis" to "that guy who wants to kill Jacob." Personally, I think he looks like Hugh Laurie from House.

    It appears that two names have been adopted, they are "Otherman" and the "Evil-One". In my opinion "Evil One" is a bit cliche, while "Otherman" lends to mystery and could easily be a Sawyerism. Otherman is clearly clever and in-line with Lost. Anyway, what do fellow bloggers think, Otherman or Evil-One? Please let me know what you think. Thank you and NAMASTE

    Has anyone considered that in some way Otherman manipulated or attempted to manipulate Widmore and this is the reason that Widmore was banished. There is no evidence that Widmore himself saw or met Jacob. In fact, the episode where Richard told Widmore that Jacob wanted Ben to be healed evidences that Widmore could not speak with Jacob, and much like Ben, he relied on Richard to act as a go between. If this is true, wouldn't Otherman attempt to manipulate Widmore as he manipulated Ben? If Ben can act as the "loophole" why wouldn't Widmore be able to act as the "loophole"?

    From the early exchange between Otherman and Jacob, it was obvious that Otherman wanted to kill him and one can assume he would kill Jacob at the first opportunity. D…
