Okay I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any LOST series finale viewing parties going on in the Boston, Massachusetts area; really anywhere in the Northeast would do. I don't feel like driving 3 hours to NYC, but besides that, I wanna watch it with fellow crazies.
If you don't know of any, tell me, what are your plans for the finale? Are you attending a party? Are you throwing it? Get LOST!Read more >
Who gets your vote as who will be the hero of the show? They have led us all this way to believe it'll be Jack and I wouldn't mind, as he is my favorite character. But there are other characters that could just as easily fit that role and have it make sense in a well-written manner. I think the candidates (no pun intended) for possible heroes for the entire finale are:
- Jack-The most obvious choice is the main character. He has an obsession with fixing too, that would make sense for him to commit another heroic act and perhaps a self-sacrifice.

I think it's clear he hit Locke to reveal the OT to him. My question is, how did he know that scenario he put him in would be similar to an event that has occured in his "other life"? As viewers it seemed obvious the writers wanted us to remember Locke's fall from the window (they even made the blood on his face look the same). But not only does Desmond not know about this moment in John's life, but it never even happened in the ALT. I guess it just boils down to Desmond trying to provide a near-death experience of any sort for John's mind to bleed over into the OT. It seemed like maybe Locke was about to experience something at the end. So it probably worked. But my other (rhetorical) question is what if Locke died from that? Maybe Desmon…Read more >
Unless a twist arrives where the true John Locke is resurrected, we will not be seeing him anymore. This means that Locke is clearly not one of the remaining candidates. So Kate's name still being there at the lighthouse, not crossed out means she IS still a candidate. Ilana has continuously said that she is protecting the remaining six(she'd say five, knowing Locke is dead). Also Kate seemed to be sought after amongst the Temple Others as an important person, because she must have been on the list. I'm sure plenty of others already thought of this. But there seems to be a lot more that didn't know. So I feel it needs clarification.Read more >
