The Characters' Development

Well since we are now so close to the end, I thought it would be a good time to find out what you all think of our characters. As of the episode "What They Died For", I would like to know which characters you enjoyed to see grow and develop the most. Feel free to give as many characters as you want, I'll start by stating the most obvious choice.

Like many of you, I really enjoyed seeing Jack become a man of faith and now the protector of the Island. The show began with the opening of his eye and it is finally great to see him come full circle. During season 1 and 2, I felt that Jack was going to forever stay a man of science, yet I still liked the character and because of that, his scenes and confrontations with the man of faith John Locke …

Some Thoughts on Across The Sea

First let me just say that I thought this episode was epic. In my opinion, it is one of the best in the series and I commented on a blog by Tim Suchecki about the episode but stated I had a couple of questions so here it goes. Regardless whether you liked the episode or not, I would like to know what you think regarding my questions.

The Island and Mother- I really enjoyed this character and found it so awesome that she was already on the Island and killed Claudia. My question would be how did she kill all of The Man In Black's people and destroy the Well all on her own? Any ideas? Also, when she gave Jacob the wine, she made him ageless, but obviously not immortal, and neither was she. I got the feeling that she knew the Man In Black was g…

Thoughts on The Last Recruit

First of all, let me just say that that I thought the episode was great. It was cool to get another multi-centric episode with Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Miles, Sayid, Claire, Desmond, Jin and Sun. Ben and Ilana didn't have much to do so I don't think they were centrics like the others.

When Claire had the gun to Kate, I was hoping she would pull the trigger, was I the only one thinking this? Not because I hate Kate, which I don't, but because I thought that if Kate died in this episode, it would have been a great plot twist.

Also, does everyone think that Jack died when the explosion occurred? I personally think he died because nobody could survive the blast from being that close, except Locke. The Others that were with Locke at the beach are sure…

Hurley and Miles Conversation

While I was re-watching "Everybody Loves Hugo", I found the conversation between Miles and Hurley interesting. When they are at the Black Rock, Miles asks Hurley why he blew it up. Hurley tells him that Michael told him to do so, and Miles instantly remembers Michael. Hurley then proceeds to further explain (they already did so in "Some Like It Hoth") that his ability sometimes involves the dead coming back to yell at him. Miles looks intrigued, as if he realizes that Hurley's ability is better than his, or that maybe Miles wants to be able to not only commune with the dead, but also be able to see them too. Did anyone find this interesting as well? Or am I over-analyzing here? It seemed to me that Miles' reaction was one of importance, an…

Tell Me What You Think

I wanna hear some feedback and your initial thoughts on the amazing episode, because I haven't read all of the blog posts today.

First, let me just say that I liked the explanation to the Whispers. dead people on the Island who can't move on because of what they did...genius imo.

And of course...R.I.P. Ilana- She was a promising character that seemed to have a lot of information. It was a good misleading on the writers' behalf, they fooled me. Once she blew up, I yelled at the t.v., "Damn, that B**ch blew up, oh my god that was intense, I did not see that coming, peace out Ilana!" Something like that, with more curse words, I was shocked to say the least. Great death scene, like Arzt.

Another thing I liked was that the writers finally split t…
