A light one this time.
Anyone else watching Lost with people who just want answers? I understand it, so if you are one of these people, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying it's bad to think this way.
What I am saying is: it's annoying to be one of the "watch what happens"-types sitting through a near-constant rant.
"How are they going to answer all this if they don't do it now?"
Well, I don't know. I'm willing to wait till they do.
"I'm just saying, we've been waiting this long. You think they could work in a few more along with the new questions they're throwing at us!"
They're telling a story. The answers will come when they come, when the story gets there.
"Yeah. It just feels like they're wasting time when a character is walking through the jungle doing nothing. I want to know what's going on."
And you know what? We all do. I'm not trying to be condescending. But the story is what we're watching. One day we'll be able to watch the whole thing, over and over, watching and rewatching. Right now we're the lucky ones watching as it unfolds. I think that's pretty cool.
But the original point was...anyone else got someone hanging around them while they watch, complaining?
