Locke Disappearing and Is 316 Infected?

Two points that I would like to hear what some other people think:

First, when Lock appeared out of the jungle when Ben summoned the monster he seemed to have knowledge he didn't possess before. Some people are already jumping to the conclusion that Locke is the smoke monster. It's kind of a Clark Kent/Superman effect; wherever Superman is, Clark is nowhere to be seen. I disagree with this point and believe a more plausible solution. Doesn't it make more sense that Locke visited Jacob's Cabin to see Christian or Jacob? I know it may be fun to say he is smokey, but Locke has gotten information this way before. Anyone agree with me?

Another thing: When Llana started her "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" nonsense, didn't it seem as thou…

Widmore's Nightmares

In Season Four's "The Shape of Things to Come", Widmore tells Ben he hasn't slept well since the nightmares started. Does anyone have any ideas what his nightmares could be. Does someone else possess special abilities like Desmond and can change the past and is Widmore experiencing new memories? Maybe Widmore has some sort of special powers and it experiencing "temporal displacement"? I think this is pretty important to Widmore's backstory and I hope someone else has some possible theories of what could cause these nightmares...or I am just over-analyzing something again!

Jacob and Jack are Great Men

I think the foreshadowing has already been put in place to connect the Shephards, esp. Jack, and Jacob. First of all, Jacob has to be connected to the Shephards somehow b/c Christian and Claire use his cabin as a place of refuge. Jacob would not allow just anyone to "live" in there unless they were connected to him in a unique way. Also, throughout the duration of the show, only two characters are continually called "Great Men": Jack and Jacob. I can't exactly pinpoint all the occurrences, but in the episode where the backstory of Jack's tattoos are told, the woman tells him he is a great man. I think Christian refers to Jack as a great man when he and Sawyer meet in the bar in Australia. The first time Ben talks about Jacob, he refer…

The Cobra and Jacob?

In the episode "Expose" Billy Dee Williams plays a character known as "The Cobra" in the show Nikki has a guest role in. Hurley calls the character this big bad guy whose identity "has been shrouded in mystery for four seasons". Well, Cobra and Jacob share the same letters except for the "R" in cobra and "J" in Jacob. Also, The Cobra's secret identity was "Mr. LaShade" which is an anagram for "SEE DHARMA LIST". Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could mean? Are we gonna find out who Jacob is this season? I mean, the writers had to put this in there for a reason, right? I checked the full Dharma list and could not find any connections.
