Hurley knows what is happening in RISK. Hurley also knows exactly what is happening on the ISLAND.
Hurley's new found confidence in the alternate time-line is a reference to Hurley's unseen potential as well as his cool-headed problem solving abilities and positive attitude. We have now seen Hurley step up to the plate as leader of the LOSTIES as they are at the temple. And guess what?!?! for once.. no one has died yet. Wow, great ending to this week's episode. Can't wait to figure out what the hell Faraday is up to. As of right now I am guessing that Faraday wanted in on the scientific experiements going on on the island, so he somehow got off and got himself into the position to be recruited by the Dharma Initiative, making them think that it was their own idea. I personally feel that Faraday is a great character, and will turn out to be vital to the show's plot.Read more >
I have no actual evidence of this happening or have heard nothing from spoilers I just think it would make sense and would be a great way to start the season.
Extra Long Shot: It is night and there is a giant storm at sea. The camera pans over the raging waters and we see a ship in the distance. Close Up: On the ship, we see crew members fighting for their lives to keep the ship from capsizing. However, none of the crew members faces are shown. Then, the camera finds its way to the wheel of the ship, which is being dramatically turned by the captain in order to face this storm.
