Its been awhile since I've been on here, so forgive me if I may be a little out of the loop but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything new about a possible sequel, prequel, movie, book, new game, or anything else about Lost? I know there is alot of Lost inspired shows on right now (some from the writers and producers of Lost) but so far most of them haven't kept my interest beyond a couple episodes. Although Once Upon a Time is kind of addicitve and it was fun to see Widmore and Claire again but poor Hurley in that prison show, he seems so "Lost"! LOL! Anyway, I was just wondering if there's going to be anything hopeful for all the Lost fans still around!Read more >
Hello everyone! Its been awhile since I've last been here but I finally saw "The New Man in Charge" (about time, huh?) and of course it got me to start thinking about that episode and then asking some more of my stupid random questions about Lost in general.
In the "New Man" why did Walt commit himself to the mental hospital? Some friends of mine who were into Lost said it was because of his "special powers" he just couldn't function in society. But he seemed to be okay when Locke visited him in school and when he visited Hurley in the hospital. Was it because he felt guilty about his Dad being a murderer? And what kind of job do you think Walt is going to do for Hurley back on the island? Is he going to be the new Richard? I figured that w…Read more >
This is another one of my crazy questions that really has nothing to do with the overall story of Lost, just something I'm wondering about. I'm reading a book about Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. So while reading it I couldn't help but think of some of the similarities in the relationship between Kurt and Courtney and Charlie and Claire in Lost.
First off, of course both Kurt and Charlie were rock stars. Both were drug addicts. Courtney Love was a groupie before being a musician and in a flashback Claire was dressed like a Goth-like groupie, so she could of easily been a groupie as well, maybe even a fan of Drive Shaft. I could easily see her following Drive Shaft around!
Of course, Kurt Cobain commited suicide and Courtney has attempted sui…Read more >
This is another question which doesn't have anything to do with the entire story of Lost but something I wondered about. When Hurley discovered he had the winning ticket and hadn't yet told anyone, there is a scene where he and his friend drive up to the store where Hurley had bought the ticket. There is a news crew there talking to the manager and the manager happens to look over and sees Hurley and says thats the guy who bought the ticket and everyone runs over to talk to Hurley. Now, my question is, how did the manager know it was Hurley who bought the winning ticket? Lotteries know when a winning number has been bought and the store where it was purchased but no one knows who bought the ticket until the winner comes forward. Why would …Read more >
A question! In a flash-forward, Jack was back from the island, he was drinking and taking pills and was back at the hospital checking on the woman he had saved from the burning car, while he was thinking about jumping off a bridge. Anyway, another doctor told Jack to go home because he knew Jack had been drinking but as Jack started to leave he turned back and said, "You go and find my father and if I'm drunker than him I'll leave!" Or words to that effect. Now, my question is, wasn't his father already dead? It was after he got back right? Or have I totally misunderstood what was going on? Just wondering!Read more >
