Just watched 'Happily Ever After' tonight (great episode I thought!) sorry if this has been discussed before....!

Did anyone else notice that Widmore was mirroring the same sort of actions with Desmond that he did with John, ensuring they both got back to the island, trying to explain that it was vitally important that they fulfil certain actions. He said that Desmond would have to make a sacrifice, as John had to sacrifice his life. I'm not sure how the two timelines will come together, but maybe it will be something to do with the FST John and Desmond needing to replace their OT versions? :(

Also, will we see Desmond saying to the 815 passengers, "we have to go back"!
