    During the show the infamous pop-ups proclaimed that Richard was one of many brought to the island who was directly or in-directly responsible for the death of another. Not sure if this is anything to think too much about, but I thought it was an interesting statement and started thinking of the losties and others, which of them could this same statement be made of and is there any significance?

    MarkFunk brought up something in an earlier post about MIB being restricted to Locke’s form. This has been on my mind for awhile. Why would Jacob’s death restrict him? Was his ability to take the form of dead people a gift (or curse) from Jacob? If so, what did he give in return…his body perhaps? Furthermore, if a new candidate is chosen will MIB regain the ability to take the form of dead people and if so, whom might he take over or will he remain as Locke?

    We’ve all been so passionate about our theories that we’ve made these huge expectations that everything is going to be answered in great detail. Darlton (Carlton & Damon) have often said that answers will be given but they also want to leave the fans with their own interpretation. The whispers and Christian have been explained in such a way that we can discuss, argue and carry on the Lost legacy forever. Good news …Lost discussions won’t have to end after the end of the season.

    In ELH Richard states that Jacob does not tell others what to do. He also cautioned Hurley earlier in the season to be careful and not trust what Jacob was saying. It’s been understood that Richard was scared and unsure at that time but now it’s got me thinking….. Jacob believes in free choice and doesn’t intervene. That is why the others were able to do questionable things….it was their choice, it’s not what Jacob hoped for..as he mentioned to Miles about Ben… but he let them choose because he’s trying to prove to MIB that there are some who make better choices.
