    Faraday rocks....

May 20, 2010 by Locke Rock

Didn't Faraday tell Jack that they could change the past if there was a large enough event to make an impact? What if the concert is the large event, and with Desmond "bringing" everybody there.....? I dunno, I foresee something really bad happening. Tragic, even. Any thoughts? By the way, I've been anticipating the finale since Season 5, and now that it's here, I'll be missing it due to a family vacation in Portugal!!! I will love the vacation but I'll have to postpone my viewing of the finale until June 1st! Ahhhh, it only ends once.....ad infinitum. But seriously, any thoughts on the concert? I thought that the big "reunion" was going to be at the hospital, but I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen at that conce…

I know that many of you are displeased with Zoe's appearance and the delivery of her lines. But I can't get Bizarro World Tina Fey out of my mind! Which brings me to this blog (and the fact that I work overnights, and I'm obsessed with all things LOST). There seems to be a split between the fans that want everything answered and those who are content with however the series plays out. I am a bit of both. As I've said before, I'd rather that they leave mysteries for us to discuss rather than give lame answers to great questions. One of the recent answers left a lot of fans dismayed. I'm talking about Room 23. Zoe tells Jin that "Room 23 is where the Dharma Initiative did experiments on subliminal messaging." Even I (a hardcore, ye…

This is a poll brought to you by the Lostpedia Broadcasting System. Ben has been on my mind since his appearance in Season 2. He's a great character, and Emerson rocks it. I have a sneaking suspicion that he knows more than he's been letting on. He seems to have given up, but I believe he's letting everyone else make their move before his final stroke. I also believe he is aware of the weirdness in the FST, and is definitely aware of the OT and perhaps other timelines (like Eloise). I hope that Ben has a huge reveal before the end of the season. My apologies if this has been brought up before, I try to read the lastest 2 pages of posts before I even consider posting. So, what do y'all think about Ben?

I know that it's a technique on some levels and on other levels it has a deeper meaning. In all the talks of "Happily Ever After"'s Charlie lines, Widmore's office paintings, repeated character lines.....I'm surprised no one brought this up: Since when, in the course of the 6 seasons, has ANY character uttered, "I don't like surprises" until just recently MIB as Locke and Desmond? I just find it funny that Season 6 has all the themes, symbolism and characters sharing dialogue throughout every episode and then all of a sudden, they drop a new one on us: I don't like surprises....

    Here's my $0.02...

I am an American and I'm 37 years old. Huge LOST fan. I'm also a human animal, and I make mistakes. RE: fights, name calling, spiteful blogging, etc...: One thing we all fail to remember is that we are not engaging in face-to-face conversation on this or any wiki site. In all of our "great human achievements" on this planet with an overgrown population and with technology replacing a lot of regular human activities, it is easy to be frustrated. It is also easy to take out frustrations on (pardon the reference) avatars and faceless people. If we were in a room discussing LOST in person, I imagine most of us would get along and engage in meaningful discussion. It is just too easy to rip into someone when we don't have to face them o…
