I didn't love the episode - all it showed was that the producers needed another season to wrap things up if they wanted to maintain the excellent quality of Lost. Instead of simply killing off Widmore they needed to devote an entire episode to 'his story'. If this had been done so much could have been answered on the nature of the 'Others' and their experience, the role of Widmore in this final conflict between Jacob and M.I.B., as well as shed some light on the character of Eloise. Instead it was a skeleton script that was an 'okay wrap it up boys' call.Read more >
If the explosion to destroy the island was successful and flight 815 never crashed on the island THEN Jack et al. never returned to the island to destroy it... therefore, in the Flash Sideways World the island is still intact, Jacob is not dead and Ben is still wondering about his spinal problems in the former Dharma camp. Since Ben is not in the old Dharma camp, but is in the 'real' world, does that not beg the question that there is more time bending to come? --Littletodo 19:42, April 28, 2010 (UTC)Read more >
