I was wondering : why did Widmore put all the candidates he captured behind a sonic fence ? I mean, Jack figured out quite quicky that the MIB can't kill them himself, and I refuse to admit that Widmore knows less about the MIB than Jack ! I know, you'll tell me the sonic fence protects the candidate not only against Smokey, but also against his human followers ... but mere humans aren't a match for Widmore's forces anyway ... so ? I can't really think of any satisfying answer ... Maybe the fence was not a shield, it was another cage, to prevent the candidates from escaping ... sounds paranoïd, even for Widmore, to double-lock them, but it's the only rational explanation I can think of right now.--Lccf 15:57, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
