Some people have discarded Desmond's wedding ring in "LAX" as a blooper ... But come on, Damon and Carlton wrote both "LAX" and "Happily ever after", and I'm guessing that, given that Desmond's loneliness in the FST is the main point of "Happily", I highly doubt they would do such a mistake. So here's the theory : maybe in "LAX" we're seeing Jack's point of view. We all noticed Jack was confused aboard alternate 815, as if he knew something's different. Maybe Desmond's ring was Jack's subconscious trying to remind him Desmond "should be" married  ? --Lccf 12:53, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
