I think that instead of a reset that the bomb wouldn't have detonated but the white flash was a time jump. Then in Season 6 the survivors will see themselves crash again in 2004 so they can change events and make the right things happen and also will be able to save peoples lives like Boone, Libby, Ana Lucia & Shannon. Also because the premiere date is on groundhog day it is because they will see themselves living the past over again but his time they can change it, because whatever hapenned, hasn't hapenned yet so they can change it.
