The NEW LOOK Wiki is Coming - Updates - Comments - Questions

As some of you are aware, I've been a Beta Tester for the New Look wiki for the past month. A group of over 400 users, from various wikis have been testing the "new look" and providing feedback for improvements during this timeframe.

Beta Testers have been getting consistent responsive updates from the wiki staff regarding our feedback and what is and is not possible now and in the future and why. Keep in mind the New Look as it is now, is the foundation from which we will together build a new, contemporary and more efficient environment for Lostpedia and other groups in the wiki world. So even when the new look is released for all of us, there is still opportunity to evolve the look and feel of our new environment.

LBC - October Book Discussion Selections

Our October Book Selections are ready. Our LBC Monthly Book Discussion process is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3.

1. Three books are identified as the October Book Discussion Selections.
Selections are posted early so you can prepare and schedule your reading to be ready for October book discussions by the 1st of October.
2. You will then choose which and how many book discussion groups you will participate with for the month. It's up to you based on your comfort level and with no pressure. Discussion groups should be decided by the End of September.

Carrie is American author Stephen King's first published novel, released in 1974. Carrie is an epistolary novel.

This book revolves around the titular character Carrie, a shy high-school girl, who uses her newly discovered telekinetic powers to exact revenge on those who tease her. King has commented that he finds the work to be raw and with a surprising power to hurt and horrify. It is one of the most frequently banned books in United States schools. Much of the book is written in an epistolary structure, through newspaper clippings, magazine articles, letters, and excerpts from books.
