Start of season 6...

Jordie Ace May 18, 2009

This is just a theory, but I think it's a good one

We all know that at the start of a season [except season 1] there is a person, somewhere we haven't seen before, with music playing in the background.

What if, at the start of season 6, we see Richard, just doing something casual, and then he walks out of the cabin, or wherever he is, and he is on the Black Rock?! And it's sailing towards the island....

Just a theory, but i'd like to know your thoughts :)

  • Djr7 has a great blog explaination about how they think the Black Rock got so far inland here. You should check it out.

  • Season 4 didn't start in the way you describe, and arguably Season 1 did start that way, since we didn't really know Jack, although there was no music.

  • I dont believe Follow The Leader was Richard centric, so i would love a Richard episode, with his old name Ricardus. I would be shocked if he wasnt from the Black Rock. It would be an ideal way to show more of Jacob post death aswell.

  • JordieAce, that's exactly what I've been thinking. I also believe Richard arrived on the Isanld on the Black Rock. To have a seoson opener that shows how the Black Rock came to be in the middle of the jungle, Richard's first interactions with Jacob, and how Jacob made him not age, would be great...we'll have to wait and see.

  • id prolly get a slight chub out of that

  • That would be sweet!

  • I do think that Richard will arrive on the Black Rock and it would be a good start to Season 6.

  • I don't think that will be the case, just of the simple fact of they only have so many episodes left to explain the main key points of the show... and to bring egyptians into it..you would need 3 more seasons! haha

Which btw, I would love :D

  • I've thought about the start of the season like this too...My theory (or rather, hope!) is that the opening scene is of someone (doing something casual as you might say) then the scene panning out to see that we are witnessing very very early days of the island where it is inhabited with Egyptians!

  • its very possible
