So i get that the flash sideways is kinda like purgatory. or kind of like your life flashing before your eyes. That is why everything paralleled the original time line. and they were basically recreating their lives off island. But where does David fit in? If the Flash for Jack was suppose to basically be a reflection on his life why would he have a son? Even Locke says "you don't have a son!"

Ok, i kinda think that Ben isn;t really back to his evil ways. here are some reasons for that

1.) Ben killed Widmore, or so he thought, before he was able to reveal very important information to the smoke monster. (he was able to cover it up by acting out "revenge" by why go through all that before killing him if that was his only goal?)

2.) He gave Miles the walkie talkie in case he "needed him later". If this was his plan (to sign up with smokey) why would he ever need miles? but if he was working against smokey, miles would prove a valuable asset.

    Is Ben "infected"

    February 18, 2010 by Johnnyagentzero

Ones who encounter the smoke monster are the ones who become "infected"

    Rousseau's team in the 70's

    Claire, in the cabin

    Sayid, through the spring

Christian? I agree with the theories that his body became "infected" and he's not MIB

Eko, he likely would have had he survived

Ben on several occasions interacted with the smoke. None more than when he was "judged" outside of the statue.

It would seem likely he would have got it at this point, should be interesting to see when he along with Ilana, Frank and sun arrive at the temple. Perhaps he fails the test as well.

Perhaps we'll see Ben, Claire, and Sayid ally together in some way.
