Deceased John Locke apparently has impregnated a coroner.

Johnlanigan January 10, 2012

Has anyone else seen this article? I cracked up laughing when I saw it. I was at a restaurant with a friend when the waitress started freaking out about this article, thinking it was real. We were both freaking out too as she told us the story, and then she showed us the photograph. Needless to say, we were a bit surprised.

  • How did you even come across this? Creepy but hilarious!

  • Definitly Creeproidal!!!

  • Pretty weird!!!

  • My favorite part has to be the "bizarre twist" at the end. It makes sense, because the story up to that point had been pretty commonplace.

    • Haha. If this was true I'd be highly disturbed.

    • A: "I liked Lost at first. Everything was fairly realistic and had a scientific explanation. But then came season 7, when we learned that John Locke's corpse impregnated a coroner. That was the last straw for me."
B: "What are you talking about? That was totally in line with everything we'd seen up to that point."
A: "No. In the beginning, everything had a scientific explanation. The hatch was kind of pushing it, but I could accept it. But a necrophiliac coroner extracting paternity from dead Locke? And then suing Helen for child support? That just makes no sense."
B: "Have you forgotten that the show BEGAN with Locke miraculously regaining the ability to walk? And there was a mysterious monster in the jungle?"
A: "Yeah, I know that, but there's a limit to how much I'm gonna buy. That bit about the impregnation just came out of nowhere."
B: "Were you even watching Lost? Didn't you get how Locke's post-mortem erection was a call-back to his erecting himself after his metaphorical death in the plane crash? With his being bathed a callback to his baptism in the rain?"
      A: "I don't think — "
B: "And maybe you missed, oh, every single season where pregnancy was a big deal? How Locke himself was originally said to be conceived without a father? And how we eventually learned that the source of life and death was a single Light? Do you not even know what the name of that 'Lost music' is?"
A: "Even so, there's no way the writers planned it. In season 6, when they had the scene in the church? I bet they thought that was the final scene of the show."
      B: "You're not a true Lost fan."

    • Hahaha. I still don't get why they used the picture of Locke. I'm sure there are other corpses they could use.

    • They thought Locke's dead was real. That's a possible explanaition!

  • LOL, why a picture of Locke? :P
