The Other Others

Was anyone else disappointed that the outrigger chase mystery wasn't resolved? I know Darlton said it wasn't going to be shown, but I expected Richard to get shot in the outrigger shortly after he decides he wants to live because that would have been amazing irony, and yet another ironic death. It also would have been funny because an "Other" killed an "Other". Plus that would have resolved the outrigger chase mystery, and it wouldn't have mattered if Richard died this way because his presence wasn't necessary on the plane.

Good vs. Evil or Science vs. Faith?

There's another blog that says that Darlton said that only some people are going to be pleased with the finale, and it's whether they are a man of science, or a man of faith. What if it's whether you're a good person or a bad person, or in other words you prefer rooting for the good side rather than the dark side and vice-versa? What if it's a bit of both?

If You Could, How Would You End Lost?

After all of the action has ended and the plot has come to a satisfying end, I would have a panoramic aerial view of the Island that zooms out while the theme "Parting Words" plays and as it ends the Island vanishes and it cuts to black with the classic "Lost" shot. This would kinda mirror the departure of the raft in "Exodus, Part 1".

2007 Barracks

I became confused the moment I saw the episode "Namaste" in which Sun and Frank traveled to the Barracks in 2007. The Barracks had been abandoned for three years, but there were remains of the DHARMA Initiative such as the "Processing Center" sign, the DHARMA logo on the door of a house, and the photos of the recruits. Is it just me, or shouldn't this stuff have been disposed of after the Purge? I don't remember seeing that sign anywhere during any previous episodes showing the Barracks, and I don't remember seeing any logos on the houses. Does seem like a mistake, or is it just unimportant?
