A white shoe

I watch re watching series 1 pilot 1 and after jack wakes up and runs to the beach the camera focuses on a bamboo branch type thingy
and on it is a white shoe
Any one know who this shoe belongs to and why the camera shows it
maybe christians

At first I think it was just a way to represent that something happened. Think out side the box. Never thinking plane crash. I think the shoe (other then Jack bloody and in the jungle) was the first sign of something wrong for the viewers. Then later it was revieled to be Christians

although the apperation of christian is wearing two shoes im guess the real dead body of christian only has one shoe.
Imagine if future season 6 jack purposely tied his fathers shoe on the tree in the past as a means of communicating to season 1 jack that something is wrong.

Hurley sees Christian in Jacob's Cabin wearing only one white shoe
Jack sees other visions of Christian wearing the white shoes, but the only time we see him wearing one shoe is in Jacob's cabin... interesting.... I wonder if that's a clue ??

Could be, I have a vague memory about Christian walking on only 1 shoe, but I could be mistaken off course.
