Ok, so I havent really been around Lospedia since the finale aired and I havent read much of the posts or posted much since I watched the finale, but I just wanted to get some thoughts down, so here goes. Please bear along if I repeat alot of the stuff or if you disagree with any of my logic.
Firstly, I liked the finale as a whole, but as always it was dissappointing. From what I understand, the FST was the purgatory and it took place after all the characters integral on the island died, and they came together so they could help each other pass onto the next phase, whether it be hell or heaven. I really thought that some people's explanation wasn't really valid, like Sayid and Shannon, and it was really sad that Locke's life-shattering mome…Read more >
Sorry to say, but the finale was kind of a letdown, i know people are going to say stuff about this but we cant call a cat a dog.
The finale answered no questions whatsoever about the two timelines, the hydrogen bomb blowing up, or any decent answers, but brought all the characters together in a cheesy sort of way, it was weird to me atleast. Nonetheless, it was an epic episode, and a nice way to end the show, but I was kind of dissappointed, thats all.
All in all, a decent ending, killer camera work, nice dialogue, fairly good acting. I will watch it again, maybe to clear up some stuff, but I dont think that I can watch it again enough times to answer alot of the major questions.Read more >
the full detailed schedule of the finale on Sunday. I might have to miss some of it and I want to watch the actual episode not the recap or a possible concert, so who knows what is the actual itinerary of the schedule on Sunday.Read more >
what is up with the ashes. Its not frustration but more curiosity, can someone explain how Jacob was "reborn" with his ashes in the fire, how ash stops the MiB from attacking, how the young Jacob was alive (as he physically took Jacobs ashes out of Hurley's hand) and the old Jacob was killed (is there a young Jacob that does not age or die, and another Jacob that grows old and does all his things and then dies at the hand of Ben). Is there a young MiB walking around as well, just looking to start up the entire process all over again? What is going on with these kids, these adults, the ashes??????Read more >
I have been reading alot of blogs and many people think that Jacob's story is completely illogical and that MiB will succeed in whatever he wants to do. The only thing I can say to respond to that is that there is absolutely no way in hell that MiB will win because in today's television society, how many shows have we seen where the ultimate bad guy wins? There is no way that the producers, writers and directors of Lost will build a show for six years and then portray a negative message with the bad guy getting what he wants, which by deduction, can only happen with MiB destroying and killing everyone that is against him. Even though Sayid and Jin and Sun and a sleu of other characters have died (perhaps Richard), Jack and Hurley and Kate …Read more >
