Awhile back someone was on here promoting a new series Once Upon a Time by some former Lost writers. They were pointing out all the little Lost "references" that was going to be featured in the show and would all us Lost fans please take a look. From what I had read and seen of the show I thought it was pretty stupid and said so on that blog. Well, I saw the show last night and I was wrong. It was even stupider that I could of imagined.
I won't get into the "storyline" itself but will refer to all the Lost "references". The town's clock is stuck on 8:15. (Big woop!) The main character name is Emily (like Locke's Mom) and when her mother (Snow White, in a flashback) starts to give birth to her, Snow White screams during childbirth "I can't h…Read more >
Okay. Let's imagine that YOU were in charge of the Losties in the first season. What five things would you have done differently than what Jack and/or Locke did? My five would be--
1. Let Michael trudge off and look for Walt! Don't go after him! Two less mouths to feed and worry about!
2. Form a group and go over and beat the crap outta Sawyer and get all that stuff he was hoarding! Possession maybe nine-tenths of the law back where you came from Hoss, but not here!
3. Get Shannon, Claire, and even Hurley, off their butts and start pulling their weight! Don't care if Claire is pregnant or not, if she can walk along the beach, she can work! (At least Locke made her help him make Aaron's cradle.)Take Shannon's nail file and polish away until sh…Read more >
After much devoted study and tireless research, I have discovered that not only, as some other Lostologists have discovered, that there was hidden meanings behind the character’s names in Lost, but also there was a casting conspiracy from the Lost producers and casting directors, as to which actor was destined to play which part. Once I reveal to you this incredible discovery, you will be shocked and amazed as to how it was right in our face and/or hidden in plain sight all along!
This new information will better serve as to our ever increasing enjoyment of Lost and the utter genius behind this program that started way before the casting call was even published. It was as if destiny and fate played their mysterious hand in the creation and…Read more >
Okay, we've had the conspiracy theories, the theological discussions, the philosophical discussions, and the mythological discussions about Lost. Now, lets get right to the "gossip" and talk about who "got caught up in a net" with who! We know about Kate/Jack and Kate/Sawyer. Sawyer/Ana Lucia. Sawyer/Juliet. Shannon/Boone. Shannon/Sayid. Etc. Etc. But what about Hurley/Libby? Jack/Juliet? Charlie/Claire? Christian/Ana Lucia? Christian/Sara? Ben/Juliet? Did they "hook up" or not? What do ya think about these or any other "pairings" I might have missed? BTW: I'm not counting any "afterlife hookups"(Sawyer/Charlotte). Lets just stay with reality for now, shall we?Read more >
Okay, despite what all the writers and all the producers have said, you and I know that one of these days something Lost oriented is gonna come along! Come on, they've got a built in audience just waiting! Be it a movie or mini-series its gonna happen! Maybe not real soon but give it time! Now, the questions I have for you is this! Do you even want another Lost show? Would you rather see a prequel featuring maybe new actors playing our favorite characters at younger ages at some point in the past? (Not the flashbacks we've already seen) Or would you rather see some type of sequel? Maybe their new adventures off island or something like Lost: The Next Generation! As for me, honestly, I rather they leave well enough be! The show has ended, d…Read more >
