Um... You know how they potray the flash-sideways world as a sort of purgatory where everyone is dead?

Well... That doesn't make sense, because in "The Package" and "Sundown", Keamy and... Multi-language eye-patch man are killed. As in, they died. Even though they clearly are already dead. So what... Did Jin/Sayid just destroy their immortal souls in this purgatory land and damn them to hell through the power of... Purgatory firearms? How does one become deceased in a land of the spiritually deceased? Where do they go after that?

    EXPLAIN, LOST! EXPLAIN!

I made a post similar to this five minutes ago, but I must note that, when I saw the series finale, I noticed one more thing that disturbed me the most:

The Entirety of the series just slowly disappears during the last five minutes.

Ater Jack plugs the Island's heart back in and recreates the spring water, Everything that made the Island's mysterious nature, everything that made it unique and important to the show just... fades. I think what I mean about that is that nobody talks about it anymore: Hurley and Ben just kinda say "Well, I guess we should protect it", and then that's it! Nothing after it! Also, when Jack looks up as he bleeds out, He sees the plane fly off, and he smiles... Then we cut to the Flash-Sideways netherworld where app…

--Benjamin Blackwood 16:59, May 24, 2010 (UTC) I must say, when I say the ending to LOST, and I watched as Jack closed his eyes at the very place where he started:

I was humbled, bewildered and confuded, but I was also thoroughly satisfied. The ending of LOST has had many strange impacts in it, and I feel I must elaborate. Some things are clear, some things make no sense at all, and some things will never be answered... I want to know:

    The Flash-Sideways Universe

What is the flash-sideways universe, exactly? Is it some sort of netherworld where the specific survivors go when they die? Is it a place where their conscience and soul (But not their memories) go when they pass on because of their special relartionships with the Island? Please help…
