There might be more but I can think of at least 2 instances when the island was either in a "future" time or a "future" event occurred ("future" meaning compared to the outside world which I'll assume is the present). While the freighter was still afloat miles away from the island, the boat's doctor washed up dead on the shore of the island. The Losties find him and have Daniel phone in to the freighter to see what happened and they say the doctor is fine. Later we see the doctor get shot and thrown overboard when Lapidus is refusing to fly back to the island. The second instance was when the Losties were traveling through time and they steal the Ajira rafts. That hasn't happened yet either since Locke is still around and the O6 come back …

Refer to my original post on this but do more people think that was Sawyer in the background NOW that they played the same exact clip in "Namaste"?

My roommate noticed this so he gets all the credit (assuming noone else has brought it up also). If you watch the Season 3 episode "Man Behind the Curtain" (the one about Ben coming to the island as a kid) you can see Sawyer twice in the episode but obviously in very unclear and quick shots. First is when they show the Pierre Chang orientation video you can see the camera roll in from right to left and there's a man riding a bicycle in the background (Sawyer sighting number 1). Next is the scene when Ben is in class and the hostiles attack and that alarm goes off. The show some Dharmas running off with guns out the window. Not the first time they pan to the window but the second time you see the back of Sawyer's head for a split second. Th…

Ok so this is what I think happened when Locke leaves the Island. He goes into the present time in the real world and recruits the Oceanic 6 to try and come with him and the events of episode 7 take place. Meanwhile, I think the flashes stop while Locke is gone and time starts running at a regular pace from where the last flash took them. I believe that this time period was around the 70s when the Dharma Initiative was running the show. This could explain the end of the last episode where we see Jin in the Dharma outfit and van (possibly after joining them or posing as one whatever). This could lead to the episode where Faraday is working in the Orchid station and warns Charlotte that she will die. Also maybe Miles discovers that he was bo…

    Penny is dead

    February 27, 2009 by IslandJintheSun

I'm surprised that noone has brought this up but remember in episode 6 when Kate appears in Jack's bed and said something happened to Aaron but to not talk about it and Jack talks to Ben on the phone and he looks beat up and says something like he had to take care of some business? Well I think that Ben is somehow responsible for whatever happened with Aaron (as well as whatever convinced Hurley to get on Flight 316 and however Sayid got arrested)but even more interesting it looks like Ben is on a dock. Who's been living on a boat? Desmond and Penny. What better opportunity would Ben have to kill Penny like he promised Widmore he would then his one trip off the island? There's many implications that could stem from this (Desmond finding ou…
