    So I am definetly leaning more to the idea that it is a'Zoroastrianism'type place. Which would still be cool. I am Christian so I have to admit I was hoping it was a Garden of Eden type plot, (which it still may be) but I am finding more evidence that I think leads to the Zoroastrianism idea. Its kinda complex of course but someof the similaritys include: How there is one GOD and one other being who is always trying to release evil, and the good is always trying to keep the evil at bay. There is a strong belief that the mortal world directly affects the spirt world. All things do including animals.     So It was recently mentioned again the whole "What lies in the shadow of the statue" thing. So.. it got me thinking about an episode in season 2 that had a similar statement. Its hard to remember the details but it went something like this. John and Jack had Ben Locked up in the hatch and John gave Ben a book. He then told Ben that one man was great and the other (who was also a great man) lived his whole life trying to be as great as the other. Then Ben being manipultive asked John " So which one are you John? The man who is great, or the man who lives in the shadow of the man who's great?"     I think all the talk about Kate being annoying is just sad. We need to look at the bigger picture here. If you think about it, Kates personality may play a big part in how it all ends. It seems to me that shes been flying under the radar on the island because of how she is. I dont think its been easy for MIB to decide if Kates good or bad. I dont think Kate knows that for sure inside either. Jack and Sawyer seem to represent that about her. In other things as well, she did mess up in life(like many of the other people) but we have some background about her to suggest she was a pretty good young Kate(other than tring to steel, which seems to mean Jacob is aware of Kate).
