I've never seen Pet Cemetery, nor do I have any desire to, but I really would like to understand what Damon is talking about. He uses the term "reincarnation" in a way that does not make sense to me. To the best of my knowledge, reincarnation refers to some one's physical body dieing and their spirit or soul or energy is re-born in a new life form, whether it be another person or a duck or whatever. This is not the same as some one dieing, and then when their body lands on a magical Island, they get to come back to life, not only with their own memories, but also with knowledge and understanding about the Island. Damon seems very adamant about the idea that "Sometimes dead is better." Thoughts?
