Am I the only one who thought when Hurley went to visit Libby at Santa Rosa there was something missing? Why was Leonard not there repeating the numbers while playing some solitaire Connect-Four? This could be more insight on when the island sank. Sometime in 1988, serving in the Navy, Leonard heard the numbers while stationed in the South Pacific. So the island couldn't of been there post 1988 because the numbers were not transmitting.
In LA X we find out Hurley got his fortune from winning the lottery. Did he play The Numbers 4,8,15,16,23,42. If so where did he get them from? Seemingly these numbers no longer are cursed due to there being no island.
